God is growing us into a church that SHARES THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS: We intentionally tell people about Jesus, trust in the Spirit to work in our words, and invite people into a relationship with God our Father.

As you are going, make disciples of all peoples, baptizing them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20

Sharing a wonderful story, whether by telling or hearing, is one of the delights of life common to all human beings. We believe that the story of God’s love for the world, a love most clearly expressed in the story of Jesus’ birth and life and death and resurrection, is the most wonderful story a person could ever share. So we are growing to become people who share the story of God’s love and who invite others to see their place in this story. We hope to share the story of Jesus so others can experience for themselves the saving, liberating, forgiving love of God that we experience in Jesus Christ and to welcome them into the Christian friendship and fellowship that Christ has given to us here at Cherokee Presbyterian Church.
